in one month it’s just me, mia madison, and britney.  mia once said she could talk in britney lyrics in everyday speech, so for the concert how could we not do it?  and i guess we started practicing early because with alumni weekend looming, it got me and mia madison reminiscing…

 

miamadison: wat about george?

avav: remember how him and my ex roommate kept hooking up even after they found out they were related?

miamadison: hahaha yes. gross.

miamadison: i dont believe it.

avav: yeah we did, we thought he was so cute. you don’t remember? we use to get nervous when he would walk into a room

miamadison: hahaha…gross.

avav: we need to pick out our outfits too.  we have to look good so we don’t have to “dream about all the things that never were.”

miamadison: we should do manicures too. u gotta look good, head to toe

avav: i want to paint mine black or dark purple

Hell to Heaven

i just had the best weekend i’ve had in a while, but it didn’t start off that way.  i was on the bus ride from hell.  i already had reservations about the bus ride from past experience, but i put those emotions aside when i saw how cheap it was. 

my friend, the prance kitten, and i stood in line for the bus for a good 30 minutes, after 25 minutes of waiting we decided we should get some food for the ride.  then right as she was looking at our options, the bus started boarding…no food for us.  normally i can last 4 hours without food, but i didn’t eat anything since lunch which was 5 hours before.  then we sat in seats with zero leg room.  my legs aren’t long, but they need space to be free.  and if that wasn’t enough the heat was easily set to 90 degrees.  we were sitting in pools of our own sweat…it wasn’t pretty. 

we decided our only options was to take off all the clothes we could while still looki being covered up and just keep talking to keep food off our minds.  it was torture to see the people in front of us pull out sandwiches followed by numerous snacks.  if i had an escape i would have taken something and ran, but i was stuck.  eventually we got there and ordered indian food, streched our legs, and got really cold in the 10 degree weather…it was great.

i think god felt bad, and decided to help me out the next day.  prance kitten and i went to the gym for a dance class.  i spotted my first nyc celeb, david duchovny…appartently the dance teacher has been trying to get him to take the class for weeks.  i was already excited for the dance class for just being dance, but it got better when i heard the first notes….kill the lights.  if dancing to britney wasn’t good enough the 80 year old woman next to me, made me love it even more.  she goes 3 times a week, and really knew how to break it down.

great memories were made, and those were just the first 24 hours.

Artificial, never have had a real tree..my brother is allergic

december 1st…i’m not allowed to do it before hand

christmas evening…i don’t like it up much after that

i was really excited when i got a pool table, but i hardly use it

Superstah

i love britney and i think everyone knows that by now. tonight there was a special on mtv which highlighted her best videos with commentary by some of her fans. during the show i was talking to ms mia madison. it was then when we realized how many things in our lives we did because of britney.

- both wanted her red abercrombie pants from baby one more time video
-we put walkmen on our waistbans and pretended they were mic sets and sang brit songs
-watched crossroads
-wanted fedoras
-laid on the floor and re-enacted her scene when she’s wearing all white in the oops video
-still watch the diane sawyer interview and cry everytime she talks about justin (and of course wishing they’ll get back together)
-and of course try to recreate britney costumes

p.s. sophia’s ringtone for her brother is “womanizer”….hilarious!

There was a rumor cirulating that Ms. Britney Spears was going to premiere her new music video on Monday.  Unfortunately, that has now changed.  But the song “Break The Ice” is hot, and has good potential.  And if you’ve been keeping up on your Hollywood gossip you would know she is getting her act together under the watchful eye of her father, Jamie Spears.  So let’s hope we see it soon!

The Rise and Fall

  

Try to think back to a few years ago, back to the years of boy bands and premature girl popstars.  Britney was by far the biggest one on the scene.  She was the princess of pop for god’s sake!  Christina, Mandy, and Jessica had nothing on her.  At the same time boy bands were all about the group.  Sure enough, they all had lead singers: BSB- Brian, ‘NSYNC – Justin/JC, and 98º – Nick.  But no one really distinguished themselves, it was more of a boy mush.  And sadly when Britney and Justin broke up it all started to go wrong.  She thought she was better and bigger, but look how the tables turned.

Look at the same scene now: Britney’s crazy and Justin is at the top of his game.  How did that happen?  Before Britney was the girl everyone wanted to be or be with and now it’s Justin.  It all started when they broke up; it really pushed him to fore front (“Cry Me A River”).  What a rise!  Seems like a scheme to me…dating the princess of pop to gain exposure, and soon take over the scene yourself!  Call me crazy, but that’s genius.
